A long-established, reputable service provider based in Hainesport, NJ is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to join its team of dedicated field professionals. This hands-on role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and repairing lab-grade refrigeration systems and environmental chambers. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support a variety of advanced lab and environmental equipment, with ongoing opportunities to learn and expand into new product areas. Refrigeration Service Tech Responsibilities: 

• Perform repair, service, and maintenance on laboratory refrigeration and environmental chamber systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance and warranty services for a variety of manufacturers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system components including compressors, evaporators, and condensers
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining service details and ensuring professional on-site support
• Collaborate with senior technicians to learn specialized systems such as ultra-low freezers and steam autoclaves
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure quality and accuracy in all calibration and repair work
• Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures

Refrigeration Service Tech Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of refrigeration service or maintenance experience
• EPA Certification required
• Valid and clean driver’s license
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on precision work
• Commercial refrigeration experience preferred
• Willingness to learn advanced lab and environmental systems
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members
