Salary Range: $365,000-$420,000+ / year DOE

Business Litigation Associate Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, governance issues, white collar matters, and internal investigations
  • Manage high-level litigation strategy, motion practice, and case development with minimal oversight
  • Oversee and mentor junior associates, paralegals, and litigation support professionals
  • Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft top-tier briefs, motions, and memoranda
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-stakes, fast-moving matters
  • Maintain exceptional quality and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous assignments
  • Engage directly with clients, experts, and internal stakeholders to advance case objectives
  • Coordinate and manage project-based litigation workflows in a dynamic, demanding environment

Business Litigation Associate Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials from a top law school
  • 5–7 years of significant litigation experience, preferably within the litigation department of a top-tier AmLaw or highly regarded boutique firm
  • Experience handling complex commercial litigation matters, shareholder disputes, white collar work, and/or internal investigations
  • Demonstrated ability to produce sophisticated, thoughtful, and analytically rigorous work product
  • Proven experience managing multiple high-level assignments simultaneously
  • Experience mentoring or overseeing junior attorneys and litigation support staff
  • Exceptional writing, research, analytical reasoning, and oral advocacy skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, impeccable judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
