Job Description

An exciting leadership role awaits in South Carolina for a seasoned professional to take charge of branch office operations within the financial services industry. Candidates based in either Mount Pleasant or Charleston are welcome to apply. This position offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing support team, drive training and development, and ensure operational excellence across compliance, cashiering, and client service functions. You’ll partner closely with branch leadership on staffing, budgeting, and strategic office initiatives while serving as a trusted resource for both employees and clients. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-driven leader with deep securities industry knowledge, a passion for building strong teams, and the ability to create a collaborative and high-energy work environment.

Supervisory Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities of branch support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Partner with branch leadership to assess staffing needs and manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes
  • Implement and maintain compliance with company and regulatory policies across all operational functions
  • Oversee payroll, cashiering, account transfers, trade corrections, and problem resolution processes
  • Serve as liaison between human capital, compliance, and branch personnel on employee relations and disciplinary matters
  • Monitor branch expenses, approve invoices, and support budgeting and financial reporting processes
  • Assist with branch openings, office transitions, and event planning for staff and clients
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities under principal licensing requirements and escalate client concerns as appropriate

Supervisory Operations Manager Requirements:

  • Relevant industry licensing and registrations required (SIE, Series 7, 66 or equivalent supervisory licenses)
  • Prior managerial experience in the securities or financial services industry
  • Thorough knowledge of industry rules, regulations, and company policies
  • Strong organizational and detail management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients
  • Ability to maintain dependable, regular, in-person attendance
