A well-established engineering firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join their collaborative and innovative team. The firm provides consulting services on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and retail facilities across the country. In this hybrid role, the HVAC Mechanical Engineer will design complex systems, manage multiple clients, collaborate with architects and project teams, and provide mentorship and quality oversight to junior engineers. HVAC Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and multi-use buildings
• Use AutoCAD and Revit daily to develop layouts, schematics, and project designs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct site visits as needed to support project execution with occasional travel required
• Mentor and provide quality oversight for junior staff and project teams
• Support project management tasks including schedules, budgets, and team coordination

HVAC Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an MEP environment designing HVAC systems for commercial or industrial buildings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and Revit is strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
