A California-based public finance consulting firm that partners with cities, counties, and special districts to fund infrastructure, community services, and public improvement projects across the state is seeking a Project Analyst to support their growing team of finance professionals and engineers. This role blends administrative support, project coordination, and analytical work to help deliver innovative financing strategies that directly impact California’s communities. Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 / Year DOE

Project Analyst Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to a team of seven, including scheduling, document preparation, and client correspondence
• Assist in producing reports, deliverables, and data analysis for client projects
• Support financial modeling and technical writing, including reports and staff communications for public agencies
• Help prepare and review presentations and project documentation for city councils and public meetings
• Coordinate team events and office activities to support internal culture and communication
• Manage daily office operations, including answering phones and assisting clients and vendors
• Contribute to special projects and research supporting infrastructure finance initiatives
• Perform data entry, Excel analysis, and budget tracking for assigned projects

Project Analyst Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe PDF
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and problem-solve independently
• Outgoing, confident, and collaborative personality who is comfortable engaging with colleagues and clients
