A financial services consulting firm in Carlsbad, California is seeking a part-time Administrative and Marketing Assistant to support daily operations and assist in producing marketing materials. This role combines administrative tasks with creative contributions, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing organization with design. Salary Range: $25 – $30 / hour DOE
Part-time Administrative and Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and provide general administrative support to the office
- Assist in producing reports, deliverables, and client-facing documents
- Help create and update marketing materials using tools such as Canva or Photoshop
- Support event planning efforts including team-building activities and company gatherings
- Manage scheduling needs and pivot priorities as tasks shift throughout the day
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across Microsoft 365 programs
- Collaborate with team members on content development and project coordination
Part-time Administrative and Marketing Assistant Requirements:
- 2+ years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Exposure to marketing or graphic design work, including updating materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Word and Excel at a basic level
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF and other design programs such as Canva or Publisher
- Strong organizational skills with ability to balance shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, self-starter mindset
- Experience helping to plan company get-togethers for team building
- HR, marketing, and event planning experience is a plus
