A leading global furniture manufacturer based in High Point, NC is seeking a Regional Sales Director / VP of Sales to help expand its North American market presence. This high-impact role blends strategic leadership with hands-on sales, focusing on building strong partnerships with top retailers while guiding new product launches and supporting international operations. Regional Sales Director / VP of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth and expand market share across North America
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with major retailers, distributors, and key accounts across the region
  • Oversee and guide independent sales representatives, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and ensuring accountability to results
  • Partner with executive leadership on sales forecasts, budgeting processes, and long-term growth initiatives to meet business objectives
  • Support product launches from concept through showroom execution, ensuring timelines are met and customer adoption is achieved
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and merchandising teams to design effective promotional campaigns and drive brand visibility
  • Deliver regular sales reports and performance updates to leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Strengthen alignment with international manufacturing teams in China, Mexico, and Vietnam to ensure seamless supply chain and product flow

Regional Sales Director / VP of Sales Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership within consumer products, furniture, or related industries
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships with major retailers and independent sales representatives
  • Experience developing strategic sales plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with long-term company objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to achieve shared goals
  • Understanding of international supply chains and experience coordinating with overseas manufacturing teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and recommend actionable strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced education or certifications are a plus
