As an Employment Law Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, collaborating with experienced partners, and contributing to meaningful outcomes for clients seeking justice in the workplace. Salary Range: $120,000 – $200,000 / year DOE 

Employment Law Associate Attorney Requirements:  

  • 2–7 years of employment law experience 
  • Background in both plaintiff and/or defense work considered 
  • Class action and wage and hour experience strongly preferred 
  • Experience handling matters in both state and federal courts 
  • Familiarity with wrongful termination and individual employment claims 
  • Must be licensed and active with the California State Bar 

Employment Law Associate Attorney Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a variety of employment law cases, primarily wage and hour class actions and representative claims 
  • Support and collaborate with partners and a team of paralegals on ongoing cases 
  • Draft complaints, statements, demands for arbitration, and discovery responses 
  • Prepare for mediations, depositions, and arbitration hearings 
  • Conduct witness interviews and support trial preparation 
  • Utilize Westlaw for legal research and drafting high-quality, detail-oriented documents 
  • Contribute to a team-based approach to litigation without the burden of billable hours
