As an Employment Law Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, collaborating with experienced partners, and contributing to meaningful outcomes for clients seeking justice in the workplace. Salary Range: $120,000 – $200,000 / year DOE
Employment Law Associate Attorney Requirements:
- 2–7 years of employment law experience
- Background in both plaintiff and/or defense work considered
- Class action and wage and hour experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling matters in both state and federal courts
- Familiarity with wrongful termination and individual employment claims
- Must be licensed and active with the California State Bar
Employment Law Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of employment law cases, primarily wage and hour class actions and representative claims
- Support and collaborate with partners and a team of paralegals on ongoing cases
- Draft complaints, statements, demands for arbitration, and discovery responses
- Prepare for mediations, depositions, and arbitration hearings
- Conduct witness interviews and support trial preparation
- Utilize Westlaw for legal research and drafting high-quality, detail-oriented documents
- Contribute to a team-based approach to litigation without the burden of billable hours
