A growing construction-focused company in Kirkland, Washington, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to energize their business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships. This exciting role focuses on securing large-scale multifamily and tenant improvement projects while connecting with general contractors, project managers, and developers. The ideal candidate thrives on building new business through strategic outreach, heavy cold calling, client visits, and supporting bids across the full project lifecycle. They are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven professional with a deep understanding of the construction industry who enjoys a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s growth.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 base / year DOE + commission

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Develop and secure new business opportunities within the multifamily and tenant improvement construction sectors
  • Conduct heavy cold calling and outreach to project managers and decision-makers at large developments
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Collaborate with leadership on bids and proposals
  • Support ongoing projects and assist in managing client communications
  • Attend in-person meetings with clients and prospects as needed
  • Maintain accurate sales activity tracking using spreadsheets and lean systems
  • Partner closely with leadership to identify growth opportunities, including expansion into new project types

Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

  • 5+ years of outside sales or business development experience
  • 5+ years of experience within the construction industry or related verticals
  • Strong understanding of general contractors, project lifecycles, and construction processes
  • Proven ability to drive new business through cold calling and relationship building
  • Based in the greater Seattle area with flexibility to travel locally for client meetings
  • Strong communication, organization, and self-management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to adapt to lean systems
