A premier national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its Woodland Hills office. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of collaborative, high-performing attorneys in a firm that values autonomy, professional growth, and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of employment litigation experience, strong case-handling skills, and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law. Salary Range: $210,000 – $260,000 / year DOE

Employment Litigation Associate Responsibilities:

  • Manage employment litigation matters, including drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, including dispositive motions, and taking and defending depositions
  • Handle wage and hour cases, including class actions and PAGA claims
  • Work collaboratively with multiple partners across various matters
  • Engage with clients and maintain positive working relationships
  • Stay current on employment law trends and regulatory updates

Employment Litigation Associate Requirements:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
  • 3–6 years of employment litigation experience preferred
  • Experience handling California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA cases is highly preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Comfortable working in a team-based environment with a proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
