A premier national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its Woodland Hills office. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of collaborative, high-performing attorneys in a firm that values autonomy, professional growth, and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of employment litigation experience, strong case-handling skills, and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law. Salary Range: $210,000 – $260,000 / year DOE
Employment Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Manage employment litigation matters, including drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, including dispositive motions, and taking and defending depositions
- Handle wage and hour cases, including class actions and PAGA claims
- Work collaboratively with multiple partners across various matters
- Engage with clients and maintain positive working relationships
- Stay current on employment law trends and regulatory updates
Employment Litigation Associate Requirements:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
- 3–6 years of employment litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA cases is highly preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Comfortable working in a team-based environment with a proactive, self-starter attitude
- Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
