A growing healthcare organization based in San Diego, California is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage and expand relationships with providers while maintaining existing contracts and establishing new partnerships. This role involves spending part of the week in the office and part in the field visiting providers across California. Key responsibilities include managing provider networks, negotiating contracts, supporting brand marketing at events, and collaborating closely with internal teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare professional with strong contracting and relationship management skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, adaptable mindset.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 / year DOE

Relationship Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing providers across the region
• Identify and establish new provider partnerships and share available services
• Negotiate, draft, and maintain provider and facility contracts
• Build and expand a provider network to support organizational growth
• Attend events to promote brand awareness and support marketing initiatives
• Travel to provider sites for relationship building and onboarding as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and support for provider needs
• Maintain accurate records of provider interactions and contract information

Relationship Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare contracting and/or provider relations with demonstrated ability to contract new providers
• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel with formulas)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Trainable, adaptable, and positive attitude with strong listening skills
• Team player able to collaborate effectively across departments
