An innovative legal firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney to join their team. The firm specializes in residential real estate transactions and values a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to high-volume title review work. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in title review, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple files independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney Responsibilities: 

• Complete thorough title review of each assigned title search
• Examine legal documents to ensure compliance with state laws
• Address title curative matters and resolve issues efficiently
• Prepare preliminary and final title opinion statements
• Handle a high volume of residential real estate transactions
• Serve as a back-up for in-office attorneys when needed
• Provide guidance and answer questions about title-related issues from other attorneys
• Utilize internal systems to manage, track, and report on title reviews

Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney Requirements: 

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• NC bar license required, SC bar license or eligibility preferred
• 2+ years of residential real estate law experience with title review
• Current or prior approval by multiple title insurance companies
• Familiarity with all necessary documents involved in residential real estate transactions
• Experience with Qualia or similar title review systems
• Ability to come into office for training and occasional in-person coverage
• Hold or be able to obtain a current NC Notary Public qualification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
