A law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney to join their collaborative San Diego-based team. This role focuses exclusively on commercial real estate transactions and finance, including loan documentation, closings, and post-closing matters. You’ll work closely with financial institutions on high-volume, high-value matters, managing multiple transactions daily in a fast-paced environment. They are looking for a savvy, flexible, and responsive attorney who can handle pressure, juggle deadlines, and maintain strong client communication. Salary Range: $135,000 – $150,000 / year DOE

Real Estate Attorney Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate loan documents
• Oversee loan closings and manage post-closing issues
• Review title and survey documents
• Communicate directly with lender clients and manage expectations
• Handle 25–35 matters simultaneously once fully onboarded
• Collaborate with assigned team members based on client groupings
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests
• Track progress of 4–6 active transactions daily
• Ensure accurate documentation throughout the deal lifecycle

Real Estate Attorney Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
• Must be licensed to practice law in California
• Experience working with institutional lenders or financial institutions
• Comfortable managing a high-volume, detail-oriented workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong client service and time management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Candidates must have ties to San Diego and plan to work onsite 4+ days/week
