Job Description

A manufacturing facility in Huntersville, North Carolina is seeking a hands-on bilingual (English/Spanish) Maintenance Technician to join the team on first shift. This role works closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure smooth operation of plant machinery, focusing on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of flexographic printing equipment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, technically skilled across electrical and mechanical systems, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Bilingual Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: 

  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of flexographic printing equipment, including VFDs, DC motor drive systems, servos, and steppers
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime
  • Support plant operations with hands-on electrical, electronic, and mechanical work as needed
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to balance skill sets and coverage on shift
  • Track and record parts usage and maintenance activity using Excel
  • Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English with team members and vendors
  • Remain flexible to cover mid-shift or additional hours as plant demands require

Bilingual Maintenance Technician Requirements: 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience on production equipment
  • Strong background in electrical, electronics, and/or mechanical plant machinery
  • Ability to work hands-on in a technician role as needed
  • Basic computer literacy with ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing production schedules and demands
  • Willingness to complete background check and drug test
