A dynamic legal firm is hiring a skilled Senior Litigation Associate with at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably within insurance defense. This role offers immediate responsibility for managing a diverse caseload, with opportunities to lead strategy, interact directly with clients, and participate in depositions, mediations, and trials. You’ll work alongside experienced partners and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative and transparent legal team known for its trial strength and client service. They are looking for a confident, detail-oriented litigator who can own their caseload, support junior attorneys, and demonstrate sound judgment and courtroom presence.

Salary Range: $95,000 – $120,000 / year DOE

Senior Litigation Associate Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload involving bodily injury, construction, product liability, insurance defense, and related litigation
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials
• Lead discovery and trial prep with support from team members
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Collaborate on case strategy with partners and other associates
• Mentor junior attorneys as needed

Senior Litigation Associate Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Licensed in New Jersey, PA or DE license a plus
• Minimum 2 years of litigation experience in civil or insurance defense
• Experience with motion practice, depositions, and client interaction
• Trial experience preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and litigation management platforms
