Job Description
A long-established and trusted provider in the Indio region is seeking a dynamic and business-savvy General Manager to lead the company through its next phase of growth. This role will oversee core business functions, Sales, Marketing, Production, and Administration, while actively contributing to strategy, operations, and revenue growth. Reporting directly to ownership, the GM will be both a visionary and a hands-on leader, capable of guiding the team through expansion while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with 5+ years of management experience in a service-driven sales environment.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $135,000 / year DOE
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations across Sales, Marketing, Production, and Administration
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of department heads and frontline staff
- Collaborate with ownership on high-level strategy and business objectives
- Analyze performance metrics across all departments to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and improve inbound lead conversion
- Conduct weekly team reviews to improve sales performance and gross profit targets
- Understand and evaluate the impact of branding vs. call-to-action campaigns
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure ROI and budget alignment
- Partner with the Production Manager to ensure on-time delivery and quality service
- Oversee customer feedback, reviews, and follow-ups to ensure a 5-star experience
- Monitor project timelines and ensure client expectations are met
- Understand cash flow, P&L, and key financial reports
- Ensure HR, compliance, and legal practices are followed
- Improve operational efficiency through systems and process upgrades
General Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a general management or senior leadership role
- Proven background in service-based sales
- Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow management
- Familiarity with marketing metrics and inbound lead strategy
- Track record of managing and improving multiple business units
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of PestPac and QuickBooks is a plus
- Willingness to be fully onsite and available for urgent issues as needed
- Experience scaling small to mid-size businesses is preferred
- Exposure to multiple departments
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required
