Job Description
A well-established and growing entertainment game company is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day business performance, product rollouts, budgeting, and cross-functional execution. This executive-level role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys building efficient systems that drive accountability and results. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, optimizing supply chains, interfacing with vendors, and supporting product launches from concept to delivery. They should be highly analytical, proactive, and capable of managing both strategic planning and tactical execution.
Salary Range: $115,000 – $140,000 / year DOE
Director of Operations Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational performance across departments including finance, manufacturing, and product development
- Drive execution of new game rollouts, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
- Lead internal reporting to private equity stakeholders and ownership group
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives and business forecasts
- Manage and support department leaders across sales, finance, and product development
- Coordinate with international vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Implement operational best practices, KPI tracking, and process improvements
- Support ERP system usage and reporting
Director of Operations Requirements:
- 5+ years in an Operations Director, GM, or similar senior role within manufacturing or product-based businesses
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional team management
- Prior exposure to product development and supplier management, ideally in gaming, amusement, or consumer electronics
- Experience working with international vendors, particularly in Asia
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a bias toward action and accountability
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute for degree
