A multi-state law firm serving financial institutions across the U.S., is seeking a skilled and motivated Bankruptcy Attorney licensed in Georgia to join its growing remote legal team. This role focuses on representing lenders and financial institutions in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy matters. The successful candidate will manage cases independently, appear in court as needed, and collaborate with a national team of legal professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney with 2–10 years of experience who thrives in a remote, high-volume environment and enjoys courtroom work and client interaction.

Bankruptcy Attorney Responsibilities:

• Represent lender/creditor clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13
• Prepare legal documents such as motions, objections, claims, and proposed orders
• Attend bankruptcy court hearings and mortgage mediation matters
• Manage a full caseload and maintain compliance with client expectations and deadlines
• Work professionally and collaboratively with clients, attorneys, and staff
• Handle urgent or complex cases and special projects with attention to detail
• Maintain positive client relationships and uphold firm values

Bankruptcy Attorney Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
• Admitted to practice in Georgia Federal District Courts
• 2–10 years of experience handling bankruptcy matters representing creditors or lenders
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy law, litigation strategy, and court procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with strong organizational skills
• Comfort with numbers and basic accounting principles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask under pressure
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
