Join a growing leader in the global supply chain industry specializing in freight forwarding, trucking, and ocean and air transport solutions. As an Outside Sales professional, you will take ownership of building and maintaining client relationships, driving new business, and providing tailored logistics solutions that help customers streamline their importing needs. Based in City of Industry, CA, this role blends in-office collaboration with client-facing opportunities, perfect for a self-motivated relationship builder who thrives on independence and measurable results. With a supportive, non-micromanaging leadership style=””>Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 / year DOE + commission 

Outside Sales Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, including at least 1 year in freight forwarding (ocean focus preferred; may consider supply chain background) 
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities 
  • Positive, driven, and resourceful, with the ability to work independently 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience will be considered in place of education 

Outside Sales Responsibilities: 

  • Schedule and conduct client visits Tuesday–Thursday; attend in-office sales meetings on Mondays and Fridays 
  • Develop and execute a sales plan, providing regular updates and forecasts to management 
  • Generate quotes for customers and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing 
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline through referrals, lead sources, and cold outreach 
  • Collaborate with inside sales support once business thresholds are met 
  • Track and report mileage for client visits using the company’s reimbursement system 
  • Provide outstanding customer service and address issues proactively to ensure client satisfaction
