A growing contract manufacturing company in the fiber connectivity space is seeking a Sales Manager to join its Norcross, Georgia-based team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical sales environment, enjoys balancing client relationships with prospecting, and has deep knowledge of the fiber optics industry. The Sales Manager will manage a blend of new and inherited accounts, acting as a key resource for customers and coordinating support across global manufacturing sites. Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage a mix of existing and prospective customer accounts in the fiber connectivity sector
- Serve as a key contact for engineering, quoting, and logistical customer needs
- Participate in domestic client visits and occasional international travel for facility tours and audits
- Present technical product information and solutions to both U.S. and global customers
- Collaborate with internal departments and overseas manufacturing to ensure customer success
- Maintain professional communication and follow-up with customer contacts at various levels
- Balance long sales cycles with short-term wins in a relationship-driven sales environment
Sales Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field is required
- 10+ years of experience in sales or account management
- Background in fiber cable, fiber connectivity, or fiber optics is mandatory
- Comfortable with limited structure; must be proactive and self-directed
- Ability to travel domestically several times per year and internationally 1-2 times per year
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to collaborate with global partners
