A nationally recognized concrete contractor is hiring a skilled Concrete Estimator. This is a high-impact role focused solely on estimating, not business development or project management. The company is looking for either a solid, experienced estimator or a high-level professional who brings industry relationships and can drive new business. Ideal candidates are confident, independent, and results-driven, with deep expertise in concrete estimating and a proactive, sales-minded approach.

Concrete Estimator Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate takeoffs and pricing for concrete jobs including foundations, slabs, tilt-ups, and flatwork
• Estimate a wide range of projects from $400K quick-turn builds to $30M+ commercial developments
• Ensure a deep understanding of job scopes, specs, labor rates, and material costs across the U.S.
• Apply knowledge of regional labor markets, especially the Northeast
• Collaborate with the executive team to bid competitively and profitably
• Deliver pricing assessments that ensure both project wins and profitability
• Work independently without micromanagement
• Use Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and estimating

Concrete Estimator Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of concrete-specific estimating experience
• Proven ability to independently manage estimating from start to finish
• Strong grasp of the full concrete construction lifecycle and estimating nuances
• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar takeoff software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Must be fully plug-and-play with minimal ramp-up
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Established network and ability to bring in new business opportunities is a plus
• Experience with complex tilt-up, freezer floor, or slab-on-grade projects is preferred
• Knowledge of the Northeast market labor rates is a plus
