Casualty & Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial and closure
• Prepare and file legal documents, motions, and exhibits with courts
• Draft discovery responses and coordinate document production
• Organize case files, maintain detailed logs, and track deadlines using case calendars
• Review and summarize medical records and depositions for attorney reference
• Assist with trial prep including witness coordination, exhibits, and courtroom logistics
• Contribute to e-discovery efforts and manage Bates labeling of legal documents
• Coordinate service of process and ensure timely delivery of legal documents to relevant parties

Casualty & Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal Requirements:

• 3+ years of defense litigation experience required
• Strong knowledge of litigation lifecycle, including trial preparation and case management
• Experience with personal injury and product liability cases preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to summarize medical records, depositions, and create legal chronologies
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate highly desired
• Strong multitasking and organization skills to support multiple attorneys
