A rapidly growing Los Angeles-based plaintiff’s firm is seeking a dynamic Elder Law Attorney to spearhead and build its newest practice area. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to lead, design, and scale an elder law and abuse litigation division from scratch. The role combines hands-on case work with the operational leadership of a new legal team, offering high autonomy, impact, and long-term growth potential. They are looking for a passionate and experienced litigator ready to champion elder abuse and elder rights cases while cultivating a high-performing legal team.

Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000 / year DOE

Elder Law Attorney Responsibilities:

• Launch and lead the firm’s Elder Law and Elder Abuse litigation division
• Manage and litigate a full docket of elder abuse and sexual abuse cases
• Oversee the hiring, training, and management of attorneys and support staff within the new department
• Work closely with firm leadership to build operational structure and procedures for the new practice group
• Coordinate case strategy, client communication, and court filings with the support of a growing legal team
• Leverage internal lead generation to handle as many cases as possible, delegating as the team scales
• Ensure all team members align with the firm’s values and performance expectations

Elder Law Attorney Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience in elder law or elder abuse cases
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation
• Experience with Clio and E-Corp filing systems
• Strong leadership qualities with prior experience building or managing legal teams is highly preferred
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing
• Personable, professional, and highly motivated with a “builder’s mindset” and strong emotional intelligence
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven, and entrepreneurial environment
