A leading manufacturer of disposable wipes and towels is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their growing operations team in Philadelphia. This critical role ensures peak operational efficiency of production lines by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on paper converting machines and other production equipment
• Respond quickly to production line issues and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns
• Work closely with production operators to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues
• Manage equipment inventory and communicate part needs, downtimes, or external repairs to the Operations Manager
• Collaborate with a diverse team in a high-output, multi-line manufacturing environment
• Participate in machine training programs to gain expertise in specialized equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas and tools
• Support a continuous improvement culture by identifying ways to improve reliability and efficiency

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in hydraulic systems, gears, and motors
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with multiple active production lines
• Team-first attitude with strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction
• Must be dependable and proactive
• No degree or certifications required
• Hands-on problem solver with a “get it done” attitude
• Comfortable learning new equipment and training on in-house systems
