Job Description

One of Texas’s leading corporate retirement plan RIA firm is seeking a Retirement Plan Account Executive to step into a high-impact, revenue-driving role. This person will take over the sales pipeline currently managed by the CEO and become the firm’s primary point of contact for new 401(k)/corporate retirement plan business development. The role is built for a motivated, relationship-focused professional ready to lead sales strategy, nurture partner relationships, and directly contribute to company growth.

Retirement Plan Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle for corporate retirement plans, from relationship development to plan onboarding
  • Build and maintain strong referral pipelines with benefit brokers and industry partners across Texas
  • Manage and nurture warm leads, typically generated through existing broker partnerships
  • Conduct client discovery, present proposals, and guide prospects through the onboarding process before handoff to the service team
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue targets
  • Travel to meet with partners and clients
  • Track activities, pipeline, and performance in CRM and internal systems
  • Act as a trusted consultant to partners and prospects, representing the firm with professionalism and credibility

Retirement Plan Account Executive Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate retirement plan sales
  • Series 65 or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success meeting/exceeding annual revenue targets
  • Strong relationship management and consultative sales skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn Redtail CRM, Tamarac, and other tools
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to grow within a sales-focused culture
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience leading sales teams or implementing sales processes is a plus
  • Strong operational understanding of RIA environments is preferred
