A dynamic real estate investment firm based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a highly skilled and driven Real Estate Asset Management & Acquisition Analyst to support its growing portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside the President of the company in overseeing and optimizing a diversified real estate portfolio that includes multifamily, office, senior housing, and skilled nursing properties. The role combines on-the-ground portfolio management with high-level financial modeling, investor reporting, and deal execution support.
They are looking for a polished, analytical, and detail-oriented professional with 3–5+ years of experience in real estate investment and asset management who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is ready to grow with a nimble and ambitious team.
Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000 / year DOE
Real Estate Asset Management & Acquisition Analyst Responsibilities:
- Assist with the underwriting, financial modeling, and evaluation of acquisition opportunities
- Oversee day-to-day asset management across a diverse portfolio including multifamily, office, senior housing, and healthcare assets
- Collaborate with third-party property managers to ensure business plans are executed effectively
- Travel 2–3 times per month to properties in the Northeast and Midwest to monitor operational performance and guide execution
- Prepare pitch decks, investor materials, and structured reports for family office partners and stakeholders
- Monitor performance metrics, flag issues, and recommend strategic improvements
- Support capital raising efforts, including participating in investor roadshows and modeling return profiles
- Work closely with leadership to synthesize data and present actionable insights in both verbal and written formats
Real Estate Asset Management & Acquisition Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in real estate asset management or acquisitions
- Prior experience with multifamily and office assets
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Argus
- Experience preparing investor materials, pitch decks, and participating in capital raises
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to clearly present complex information
- Travel flexibility to oversee portfolio performance
- High attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with systems such as Yardi, MRI, and Microsoft 365
- Background in private equity real estate, family offices, or investment banking is preferred
- Experience working with lenders and institutional investors is a plus
- Understanding of business plan execution and performance management
