Job Description

A well-established and respected property management firm in Tustin, CA, is seeking a reliable and organized Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of homeowners associations (HOAs). In this high-touch, relationship-driven role, you’ll serve as the main liaison between HOA boards and homeowners, manage daily operations, coordinate meetings, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, polished, and service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy and community impact.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 / year DOE

Community Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of 75–400-resident HOA communities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for HOA boards, homeowners, and vendors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with board members
  • Attend and facilitate HOA meetings
  • Respond promptly to homeowner and board inquiries via phone and email
  • Conduct regular on-site property visits and inspections
  • Ensure all community documentation and tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain organized records and manage all correspondence
  • Use internal systems to track and complete work

Community Manager Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years of professional customer service or administrative experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
  • Willingness to attend evening meetings and manage a flexible schedule
  • Reliable transportation for community visits
  • Proven track record of reliability, responsibility, and long tenure in prior roles
  • Prior property management or HOA experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience handling difficult customer interactions with professionalism is a plus
