A leading commercial real estate management firm in Miami, Florida, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This role is focused on managing tenant rent collections and billing for numerous industrial properties, ensuring accurate and timely accounts receivable processing using software like Yardi and MRI. Ideal candidates will have strong AR experience, preferably in real estate, with excellent communication skills to handle tenant inquiries and collaborate with property managers. Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage rent collections and tenant billing for multiple industrial properties, including associations and private owners
• Modify tenant invoices and quickly resolve billing discrepancies or tenant disputes
• Monitor tenant accounts for timely payments and follow up on delinquencies promptly
• Prepare AR aging reports and delinquency summaries to inform property managers and owners
• Communicate effectively with tenants and property managers to address billing concerns
• Support legal or eviction processes by providing necessary AR documentation and payment history
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing to ensure accurate AR records
• Post security deposits, move-in/move-out charges, late fees, and other tenant charges accurately
• Set up new tenants in Yardi or MRI, ensuring billing details align with lease agreements

Accounts Receivable Specialist Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years accounts receivable experience, ideally in real estate
• Skilled at multitasking and managing high volumes of AR transactions daily
• Proficient in lease interpretation and billing within Yardi or MRI software
• Strong ability to prepare AR aging reports and handle collections
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with tenants, owners, and property managers
• Real estate AR experience preferred, industrial property background a plus
• Accounting degree preferred but not required with sufficient experience
