A well-established civil construction company is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fully onsite role focused solely on estimating across municipal, infrastructure, and public works sectors. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project documents, completing takeoffs using Insight and Bluebeam, and developing detailed cost proposals. There is no need to chase work and travel is limited to occasional site visits for new opportunities. The ideal candidate is a dependable, mid-career professional who can manage multiple estimates simultaneously and enjoys working in a close-knit, team-oriented office environment.

Senior Estimator Responsibilities: 

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for civil construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for pricing and risk assessment
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to gather pricing and scope
• Use Bluebeam, Insight, and Excel for estimating and documentation
• Submit proposals and bid packages in accordance with deadlines
• Participate in bid review meetings with leadership
• Occasionally visit sites for initial scope walkthroughs
• Support transition of awarded jobs to the project management team

Senior Estimator Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in estimating within civil construction
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Background in public infrastructure, sitework, or municipal civil projects
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Bluebeam experience preferred
• Field experience is a plus but not required
