A thriving technology company is seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to drive growth in the Public Safety, State & Local Government, and Federal Government sectors. This role is ideal for a motivated hunter-closer hybrid with a proven track record in B2B sales, especially in telecommunications, headsets, or related technologies. Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 / year DOE

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across public safety, state & local government, and federal agencies
  • Generate new leads through outreach while also converting inbound leads provided by marketing
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat and referral business
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting and strategic sales planning to exceed sales goals
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to close, including negotiations and product education
  • Understand client needs and present solutions from a product line of proprietary and OEM headset systems
  • Track activities and manage data within CRM and Excel-based systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and customer satisfaction

Sales Representative Requirements:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in technology, peripherals, or communications
  • Experience selling to public safety, state/local government, or federal agencies preferred
  • Proven ability to hunt and close deals with a strong track record of sales performance
  • Tech-savvy with CRM experience, HubSpot preferred, and strong Excel skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong organization, planning, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Must be self-motivated, coachable, and driven to succeed
  • Polished, professional, and process-oriented with a team-first mentality
  • Experience working with a manufacturer is a plus
  • Existing book of business or strong network in the public sector is a huge plus
  • Familiarity with high-security government procurement or headset solutions
  • Previous experience in a high-growth or start-up environment is preferred
