This facility produces large volumes of fresh and frozen breads and pastries, with a strong focus on quality and safety. The Night Shift Maintenance Technician will perform skilled mechanical work, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of bakery and packaging equipment. Night Shift Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on bakery, packaging, and production support machines
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, conveyors, and valves
• Set up and maintain equipment including freezers, slicers, and conveyors
• Communicate proactively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations
• Respond to work orders and emergency calls during night shifts
• Assist with troubleshooting variable frequency drives and PLC systems
• Participate in scheduled line shutdowns and maintenance projects

Night Shift Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience for entry level; 3-5 years preferred for advanced roles
• High school diploma or GED required
• Understanding of low voltage (0-24V) and high voltage (120-480V) electrical systems
• Proficient in pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Mechanical aptitude with basic tool skills
• Experience troubleshooting Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs preferred
• Familiarity with TPM and 5S methodologies is a plus
