A nonprofit outpatient behavioral health clinic in Washington Heights is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Receptionist to join its growing team. This role is the face of the clinic, responsible for welcoming patients, managing front-desk operations, and supporting both staff and clinicians in delivering essential services to the community. Salary Range: $50,000 / year DOE

Bilingual Spanish Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and check them in and out for appointments
  • Manage patient scheduling and follow-up communication by phone
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system
  • Ensure clinic readiness by opening or closing the office as assigned
  • Distribute metro cards and confirm eligibility per internal records
  • Collect signed consent forms and notify clinicians of patient arrivals
  • Support additional clinic locations when coverage is needed

Bilingual Spanish Receptionist Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • High school diploma required
  • At least 1 year of receptionist or customer service experience
  • Friendly, proactive, and dependable demeanor
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-needs clinic setting
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Open to working either a 9–5 or 12:30–8:30pm schedule
