This role focuses on cultivating client relationships, preparing competitive bids, and expanding business opportunities in a growing, safety-focused environment. Business Development Representative Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across the Permian Basin region
  • Conduct cold calls and visit job sites to introduce company services and identify bidding opportunities
  • Prepare and submit competitive bid packages for industrial contracting projects
  • Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure proposal accuracy
  • Represent the company at industry meetings, client visits, and occasional training events
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and pipeline progress
  • Drive business growth without strict quotas or KPIs, focusing on securing more bids

Business Development Representative Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of business development experience in oil and gas or related industrial contracting
  • Strong understanding of bid preparation and submission processes
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience in facility construction or pipeline markets highly preferred
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to manage a large territory independently
  • Ability to align services with client needs and maintain safety compliance
