Job Description

A fast-growing pharmaceutical organization is seeking a Commercial Analytics Manager to drive performance insights, optimize go-to-market strategy, and support sales operations through robust data storytelling and dashboard development. This role sits on a lean and collaborative analytics team and will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership to shape key commercial decisions. The right candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-obsessed, and enjoys turning data into action. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Raleigh, NC.

Commercial Analytics Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain sales performance dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau or Power BI
  • Deliver strategic insights and trend analyses to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps
  • Support segmentation, targeting, territory alignment, and quota setting
  • Analyze sales data and market dynamics to support sales strategy and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure reporting accuracy and usability
  • Act as a strategic data partner in sales, product launch, and commercial planning meetings
  • Present findings to senior leadership in a concise, data-driven manner
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and forecast product performance

Commercial Analytics Manager Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field
  • 4+ years of sales analytics, business intelligence, or commercial operations experience within the life sciences industry
  • Proven ability to derive business insights from complex datasets
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM tools, Tableau or Power BI, and analytics platforms such as SQL, R, or Python
  • Strong communicator with ability to explain data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of IQVIA or similar syndicated data sources
  • Direct experience supporting commercial or field sales teams in a regulated healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive decision-making across sales and marketing teams
