A well-established financial services company in the commercial banking sector, located in Salem, New Hampshire, is seeking a Commercial Lending Assistant. This role is essential in supporting the loan onboarding process, managing construction advances, and maintaining strong communication with both clients and senior management. Commercial Lending Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with loan onboarding, documentation, and tracking through the origination process
  • Coordinate construction advances and inspections with borrowers and lenders
  • Serve as a communication liaison between loan officers, clients, and senior management
  • Monitor loan progress and maintain accurate records throughout the loan lifecycle
  • Manage fluctuating workloads while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Support the lending team in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Ensure compliance with banking procedures and regulatory requirements

Commercial Lending Assistant Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Commercial Lending Assistant or similar role
  • Familiarity handling commercial loans and construction advances
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial data systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with executives and clients
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but experience can substitute
  • Experience with loan processing software like Fiserv preferred
