Job Description

A booming construction company is seeking an experienced and highly communicative Construction Project Manager to lead multiple public works and renovation projects. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires outstanding project oversight, budgeting acumen, and the ability to manage concurrent projects across various phases. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 / year DOE

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee 3–5 construction projects simultaneously, including budgeting, bidding, scheduling, and closeout
  • Lead client communications and presentations; serve as primary point of contact throughout project lifecycle
  • Conduct site visits weekly
  • Manage project phases including pre-construction, construction, and project close
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality execution
  • Attend client board meetings when needed and provide status updates
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date in Procore and Excel

Construction Project Manager Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager within a Construction Management firm
  • Proven experience managing public works and occupied space projects
  • Experience leading $5M–$10M renovation or addition projects
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively and proactively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Procore experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Must be organized, polished, and capable of managing competing priorities independently
