A leader in the meat and poultry distribution industry is seeking a hands-on and experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate to oversee daily logistics, inventory management, and staff coordination. Salary Range: $20 – $32 / hourly

Shipping and Receiving Associate Responsibilities:

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, including loading and receiving refrigerated inventory
• Scan inventory in and out of ERP system and maintain accurate records
• Ensure timely, accurate, and safe order fulfillment and PO verification
• Manage and coordinate a team of warehouse staff
• Monitor food safety protocols for all incoming and outgoing products
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas
• Collaborate with operations leadership to resolve logistical issues and improve processes

Shipping and Receiving Associate Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management
• Background in the food industry is required
• Experience in meat, poultry, or refrigerated food distribution is preferred
• Comfortable using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of general food safety regulations
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Forklift certification preferred
• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
