A premier wine brokerage firm is seeking a growth-minded, entry-level Wine Sales Associate to join its close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of wine who is hungry to learn and passionate about delivering exceptional service. You’ll support daily web orders, assist with shipping logistics, and make knowledgeable wine recommendations. The right candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited to grow into a more client-facing sales role.

Salary Range: $52,000 – $56,000 / year DOE

Wine Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Support the Logistics Manager with processing daily wine shipments
• Generate shipping labels and send end-of-day tracking confirmations
• Assist customers via phone and email with questions and product information
• Manage customer orders and suggest wine pairings and add-ons where appropriate
• Maintain and update product data in Fishbowl inventory software
• Research and input wine scores, tasting notes, and product specs
• Perform light administrative duties including answering phones and processing contracts
• Ensure timely and accurate follow-up with clients

Wine Sales Associate Requirements:

• 1–3+ years of experience in the wine industry
• WSET Level 1 certification
• Familiarity with luxury wine and wine terminology
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proactive
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be local and available to work onsite 5 days a week
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Experience with Shopify, HubSpot, Fishbowl, or similar tools is preferred
• Familiarity with FedEx/UPS shipping systems
