Job Description
A booming construction company is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join their well-established and close-knit team. In this role, you’ll manage the full life cycle of diverse commercial construction projects—including multifamily housing, hotel builds, and warehouse developments. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, coordinating with site superintendents and subcontractors, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring project delivery meets the company’s high-quality standards. Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of assigned construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Conduct site visits and attend weekly meetings to monitor progress and subcontractor performance
- Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and logistics plans
- Oversee and coordinate with site superintendents to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution
- Interface with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors throughout the project
- Prepare and manage documentation, RFI logs, submittals, and change orders
- Maintain compliance with building codes, permits, safety, and legal regulations
- Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to contract specifications
Construction Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager within a general contractor setting
- Proven stability in previous roles
- Strong working knowledge of commercial construction processes, with experience in multifamily, hospitality, or warehouse projects preferred
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree not required but welcomed
- Experience with HUD or affordable housing projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and scheduling
