A specialized engineering firm in the wastewater treatment industry is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead equipment-focused projects from handoff to final delivery. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, vendor coordination, equipment submittals, budgeting, and direct client communication. You’ll play a key role in managing 3 to 4 active projects simultaneously.

They are looking for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined professional who thrives in a small-team environment and can take ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision.

Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage full lifecycle of wastewater treatment equipment projects from sales handoff through delivery
• Conduct site visits for measurements and start-up support
• Create submittal documents and coordinate customer approvals
• Develop project schedules using Microsoft Projects and maintain budget adherence
• Obtain vendor quotes and manage material sourcing
• Coordinate fabrication with external manufacturers
• Act as the primary client contact throughout project duration
• Support accounting with project-related billing and progress payments
• Monitor project progress and resolve roadblocks proactively

Engineering Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Inventor
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing coordination
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Must be based within commuting distance to Montgomeryville, PA
• Prior experience in project management is a plus
• Familiarity with Global Shop ERP system
• Background in wastewater treatment or similar mechanical manufacturing industry is preferred
