A leading national labor and employment law firm seeking a mid-level Employment Litigation Associate to join their dynamic Nashville office. This role involves handling employment litigation matters across Tennessee and California, providing top-tier client support, and actively participating in all stages of case management. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, a deep understanding of employment laws, and the ability to handle cases from inception through resolution. Employment Litigation Associate Responsibilities

• Manage Tennessee and California employment litigation matters from start to finish
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions and represent clients in mediations
• Work directly with clients on day-to-day employment law issues and provide strategic counsel
• Participate in a free-market case system, selecting matters aligned with your interests
• Collaborate with multiple partners on a variety of employment litigation matters

Employment Litigation Associate Requirements

• 2–6 years of employment litigation experience
• Admitted to practice in both Tennessee and California
• Experience handling California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, self-starter who takes ownership of their workload
• Experience with restrictive covenants and trade secrets law is a plus
