A fast-growing home improvement retailer with a national expansion plan is seeking a District Manager to oversee a key regional market spanning from Springfield, Missouri to Fort Smith, Arkansas. This individual will be responsible for driving performance across five locations, leading store managers, and fostering a culture of accountability and motivation. District Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations for five retail locations within the district
• Mentor and develop store managers and sales teams to ensure high performance
• Assess store performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective training plans
• Manage escalated customer issues and ensure service standards are met
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining payroll and operational efficiency
• Maintain regular in-person visits with each store, with flexible scheduling based on performance
• Communicate proactively with leadership on progress, challenges, and goals

District Manager Requirements:

• 5+ years of multi-location management experience in retail or home improvement
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams across different locations
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills with excellent verbal and written communication
• Background in flooring, cabinetry, or similar industry preferred
• Ability to travel regularly across district territory
• Experience navigating operational challenges in acquired or restructuring markets
• Results-driven with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
