A community-centered financial institution is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join its Wealth Management Group. This client-facing role involves managing investment portfolios, supporting high-net-worth individuals with financial planning, and fostering lasting relationships built on trust. The ideal candidate is an experienced financial professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client service and community engagement.

Portfolio Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage investment portfolios and execute buy/sell transactions
• Analyze market trends, prepare investment plans, and recommend portfolio adjustments
• Handle trust and estate portfolios, including interactions with beneficiaries, attorneys, and tax professionals
• Interpret legal documents such as wills and trust agreements
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing ongoing support and product recommendations
• Identify new business opportunities and support referral generation
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and banking regulations
• Handle administrative duties such as wire transfers and maintaining accurate investment records
• Actively promote the bank’s wealth management services within the community

Portfolio Manager Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in portfolio management, wealth advisory, or related financial services
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business; OR 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and investment platforms
• Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills
• High integrity, professionalism, and a community-first mindset
• CFP, CFA certification, trust school completion, banking industry background is preferred
