A well-established labor law firm in downtown Chicago, specializing in representing unions and their affiliated benefit funds, is hiring a Labor Law and ERISA Attorney. Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000 / year DOE

Labor Law and ERISA Attorney Responsibilities:

• Represent labor unions in arbitration, litigation, and compliance matters
• Conduct depositions, request documents, and manage redactions
• Draft legal documents and prepare for hearings and arbitrations
• Collaborate with partners and independently handle assigned caseload
• Work closely with clients in construction, transportation, and public sectors
• Communicate effectively with union leaders and representatives
• Stay up to date on relevant labor and ERISA legal developments

Labor Law and ERISA Attorney Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience practicing labor law and ERISA
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for IL bar admission
• Experience representing unions or willingness to switch from employer-side
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable interacting with clients across working-class industries
• Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple cases at once
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite; ability to learn internal systems
