We provide recruiting services in the areas of Finance, Accounting, Administration, Customer Service, and all other professional services. As we continue to scale, we are in search of an energetic, ambitious, and sales-savvy Business Development Manager to identify and capture new business opportunities to fuel our growth! We are looking for a polished, articulate, and strategic professional with strong integrity and exceptional follow-up skills. Someone sharp and solutions-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation skills. This position is based out of our stunning, brand new headquarters in the heart of Little Italy in downtown San Diego, CA, where you will be surrounded by the energy of an all-star, industry leading sales team.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and other channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing customized recruitment solutions
- Collaborate with clients to negotiate recruitment agreement terms, and prepare proposals and presentations
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, offering insights and recommendations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services and enhance client satisfaction
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular reports and forecasts
- Represent Boutique Recruiting at industry events, conferences, and networking functions with monthly travel often required
- 60% new business development and 40% lead management
Business Development Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of work experience in Business Development or sales
- Must have experience in the recruitment industry or similar field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time sensitive deadlines
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both in speaking and writing
- Strategic thinking skills, with a knack for identifying growth opportunities and devising effective sales strategies
- A results-oriented attitude, with a focus on meeting and surpassing sales goals
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce
- Ability to travel as necessary (typically 1-3 times per quarter)
