A leading expedited freight carrier in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and energetic Account Executive to join its sales team. This role focuses on selling expedited, truckload, and larger LTL freight solutions throughout an established network. The position is primarily focused on cold outreach and in-person client development, with a mix of warm leads. The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, excels in relationship building, and knows how to professionally break through gatekeepers. Account Executive Responsibilities: 

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls and in-person visits 
• Maintain and grow relationships with manufacturing and logistics clients 
• Sell expedited freight and truckload solutions 
• Focus on 75% cold outreach and 25% warm leads 
• Travel locally to meet clients, no overnight travel required 
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing 
• Work independently and track activity using internal systems 
• Collaborate with internal operations to ensure customer satisfaction 

Account Executive Requirements: 

• 3–5 years experience selling expedited freight 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel formulas and PowerPoint 
• Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle 
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills 
• Professionally persistent and effective at getting past gatekeepers 
• Ability to work independently and self-manage 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings
