A leading independently owned electrical distributor is seeking two experienced Commercial Outside Sales professionals to join their growing team. These roles are focused on building and maintaining relationships with electrical contractors in designated Pennsylvania territories. This is a client-facing, results-driven sales opportunity ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys managing their own schedule and thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment. They are looking for self-starters with a proven track record in commercial construction sales who can drive growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Commercial Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a book of commercial accounts; focus on top revenue-generating clients.
• Conduct in-person customer interactions every week
• Visit job sites and customer offices daily within assigned territory
• Meet monthly and annual sales goals
• Proactively develop new business through warm leads, referrals, and strategic cold outreach
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Project Support teams to deliver full-service quoting and fulfillment
• Attend monthly sales strategy meetings at the Reading, PA office
• Navigate both short-cycle commodity sales and longer-cycle switchgear projects
• Utilize CRM and ERP tools for pipeline tracking, sales forecasting, and client communications
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and expand wallet share

Commercial Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of commercial construction sales experience, electrical experience highly preferred
• Proven ability to sell $5M–$15M+ in annual revenue
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, driven, and disciplined
• Able to manage own territory and schedule independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Remote role but must live in Northeastern PA
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within territory
• CRM and ERP experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
