A boutique litigation firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join a busy and growing legal team. This position will focus on high exposure litigation, including general negligence, personal injury, products liability, and commercial business litigation. Depending on the location, the role may also focus exclusively on toxic tort matters. Attorneys will be responsible for depositions, discovery, motion practice, client communication, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is a driven, proactive, and organized attorney who thrives in a lively, team-oriented environment and is motivated to meet deadlines and billing goals.

Salary Range: $130,000 – $200,000 / year DOE

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: 

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions
• Draft original motions and litigation-related documents on complex matters
• Draft discovery requests and responses
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective oral and written communication
• Prepare for trial including drafting motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case teams
• Manage cases actively and independently while keeping matters moving forward
• Utilize MS Office and internal case management systems

Litigation Attorney Requirements: 

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California
• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Experience handling high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases including products liability and general negligence
• Strong deposition and motion practice skills
• Ability to handle a busy caseload and meet annual billable hour requirements
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to responsibilities
• Willingness to work on a hybrid schedule in Los Angeles
