Job Description

A leading commercial plumbing contractor in Central Ohio is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects, ensuring quality installation, adherence to code requirements, and on-time project completion. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active participation in the installation of plumbing systems on various projects across Franklin County and surrounding areas. They are looking for a candidate who takes ownership of their work, values accountability, and thrives in a professional, respectful, and team-oriented environment. 

Commercial Plumbing Foreman Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage plumbing crews on commercial construction job sites 
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications 
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio plumbing code and safety standards 
  • Actively participate in plumbing installations 
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project schedules 
  • Manage material orders and inventory on job sites 
  • Perform quality control checks on work performed 
  • Oversee job site safety and enforce company policies 
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentices and less experienced crew members 
  • Handle multiple projects depending on project size and scope 

Commercial Plumbing Foreman Requirements: 

  • Licensed Journeyman Plumber in the state of Ohio 
  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing experience 
  • Prior experience leading crews on commercial construction projects 
  • Strong knowledge of Ohio plumbing code 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints 
  • Comfortable with hands-on installation work 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills 
  • Proficiency with email and basic technology tools 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
