A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive business development efforts across the San Diego region. This role will focus on selling industrial hydraulic and pneumatic products and systems across a diverse customer base, including manufacturing, agriculture, waste management, entertainment, and automation industries. The successful candidate will manage an existing book of business while developing new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, and leveraging company-generated leads. They are looking for a self-starter with a strong sales background who thrives in a customer-facing, field-based role. 

Salary: $90,000 – $90,000 / year DOE 

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities: 

• Manage and grow an existing customer book of business 
• Prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, and lead generation 
• Develop strong customer relationships and provide product and service solutions 
• Work closely with inside sales and field service teams for customer support 
• Utilize CRM tools for lead management and activity tracking 
• Travel extensively throughout the San Diego area, including Imperial Valley and up to Orange County 
• Meet and exceed sales revenue and gross margin targets 
• Participate in bi-weekly meetings with sales leadership 
• Stay up to date on product offerings and industry trends 
• Represent the company at industry events and vendor shows 

Outside Sales Representative Requirements: 

• 3-5+ years of sales experience in an industrial or related vertical 
• Proven track record of business development and sales success 
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills 
• Ability to self-manage in a field-based, autonomous role 
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record 
• Willingness to learn fluid power products and systems if not already experienced
